You have developed very animated opinionated voice. It is hilarious!! You are also exploring the world of pouting. Trying new faces and voices. You have a very good pouty face.
You are hugging my neck right now while you sleep on my chest. I love your sleeping hugs.
You recently went from sitting to your tummy then back up to sitting. You are so close to crawling. I put you up on your hands and knees and you think about going. You WANT to go, but then you decide not to. Sometimes you will push your way backwards, but I don't know if you realize you can control this movement yet. You usually plop your hiney back on the floor and seem to be content there. You do wiggle your little bumm around so you make large circles on the floor. We have to keep on an eye on you and what is close by. You find toys and things that I do not even see until you have it.
We are practicing you sleeping on your own. You are a lot better at getting yourself to sleep. You have even been put to bed awake, fallen asleep and stayed there for several hours. Most nights I rock you to sleep then hug up to you for a while before I put you in bed.
We learned tonight that you HATE hot potato. We were playing it at Grandmas house and you cried a few times. You kept giving the potato stink eye every time you looked its way. You were absolutely and understandably done with it when you got pelted with the plush singing potato. Poor Clara!
You like crinkly things. Your favorite toys are wrappers. I took the wet wipe bag/crinkly wrapper and made a toy out of it this week. So far you think it's interesting but you would still rather have just a plain ol' wrapper.
You like singing Disney characters. Together, you and your Daddy have watched the singing parts of Anastasia at least twice. He loves finding songs for you to watch on You Tube. Disney songs and classical are the only kinds of music that really grab your attention.
