Happy Memorial Day!!

We are sad to see this weekend come to an end, but it was really a lot of fun. We went on a few long family walks, Teddy included, got stuff done, chilled, and had fun.

Today we had a lot of fun! We went to Camp Floyd and the Stagecoach Inn State Park for a Civil War reenactment. It wasn't really a reenactment, but they had 10 or so tents set up, people in Civil War era clothing giving demonstrations, and there were lots of activities for kids. Henry was not quite old enough to participate, but Nate was!

Nate got to fire a musket. They made him use ear plugs and protective eye wear. They also assured me that it was quite safe. I'm still not sure if they were just trying to be all gentlemanly, like during Civil War times, or if they really thought I was worried. If I would have had another dollar or they'd had change I would have shot it myself.

Henry did NOT like wearing the solider hat. I think it was because it was a Yankee one. Smart boy. (Confederate hats were not available.)

He got to pet a horse. I don't think they cared for each other.

The Boy Scouts are going to put up a flag in front of our house for all of the National holidays this year. All of the flags they are using actually flew in Afghanistan or Iraq. Kinda cool!

Michael Buble

For Christmas, I got 2 tickets to the Michael Buble concert when he came to Salt Lake. It was WAY fun!

P.S. This is part of Henry's favorite song.

I didn't say when...

When I said pictures were coming, I didn't say how long it was going to be. :)

Because I don't feel like doing much else today, I have decided to blog. Here are some pictures from past months. I am not promising much detail.

Henry likes Fox News.

Henry on his 6 month birthday.

He watched General Conference too.

Happy Easter! Don't worry. He shared.

Road trip!

He went swimming at our hotel in Rexburg. He would get to where he got excited, would splash the water, then get upset that there was water in his face. I'm excited to take him swimming again. We've been practicing playing with water while he's in the bathtub and he really likes it a lot now.

We've been spending time in our back yard, so I got him this cute hat. Until now he has hated hats, so I made him wear it around Target for a bit before I bought it. He seems to like this one!

I got flowers for Mother's Day! I love my flowers. If you will also note that my fence is newly stained. Henry and I spent a lot of time getting that done. My other Mother's Day present was Nate's help on Saturday. With out his help it would have taken me another couple weeks at the rate I was going. Thank you!!! I am very excited about my little back yard!

Happy Mothers Day!!

Don't worry those of you who read Annah's blog. I know what you are thinking; "When is she actually going to put up a post?" Though she spends a lot of time on the internet she has a hard time putting up posts. But who are we to complain? She is a busy working mother with a lot to do. So I thought I would take it upon my self and my lazy Mothers Sunday morning to post something up for my sister. Happy Mothers Day Nannah! Good thing all her passwords are the same as my mothers.
A few weeks ago Annah and Henry helped me show Ian around Temple Square for the first time. This is Henry in the Joseph Smith Building. Fallowed by Annah and Henry with the Christus and them on top of the Conference center.

We all eat lunch at Buchadepeos (I don't know how to spell that super good italian place a few blocks away from temple square) but we all love our food. I gave Henry his first taste of an Italian soda that made him hiccup for a while and he really enjoyed chomping down on my paper place matt. I know this is mainly a post about Henry but thats what mothers blog about right? There children?
